"Fuera Lugar" is a photographic series, predominantly shot in analog, that explores the dislocation of familiar domestic objects when removed from their intimate, everyday settings. Through the lens of these images, ordinary items—such as a mattress—are seen abandoned in public spaces, prompting reflection on the ease with which people dispose of what they are emotionally connected to in favor of replacement. The series not only invites a conversation about consumerism and disposability, but also opens up potential readings through a romantic lens, where the separation of these objects might symbolize loss, transition, or the impermanence of personal attachment.
